10月31日 Happy Spook DayHappy Halloween!!!! So, you all have to go see 30 Days of Night. Great flick! It is hard to find a good gory movie. This one wasn't all that gory, but it had just the right amount of blood and guts to make it interesting. There were a couple of spots in the movie where I jumped. Me!!! The woman with nerves of steel who wouldn't jump if Freddie Kruger himself jumped out of my closet. Anyway, I had to laugh because "the boy" and I were talking about it (yes, my son loves the spook movies as much as I do) and he didn't like the way the vampires were portrayed. He said that on "real" vampires only their fangs are pointed and on these ones all of their teeth were pointed. I told him that the original Dracula, Bella Lugosi, did indeed have teeth exactly like that. He'll have to take my word for it because he refuses to watch B&W movies. Well, here's to hoping you all have a fun and safe holiday. A little bit of info from a witches pov...this is known by some as the witches new year. Break out the noise makers and lets party!!!! 10月18日 HIM in concertI have been trying to figure out what to get my son for his birthday. I thought about KORN tickets, but it looks like I'll be passing on KORN. At least this time. Why? Because my son's all time favorite band is playing the day after his birthday. In the Venue is hosting HIM again this year. My son doesn't know it yet. The tickets are a bit more pricey, but I think he is worth it. Besides this will make up the fact last year was a crappy birthday for him.
I saw them last year and it would be great to see them again. When I saw them last year I had a thing for Ville Valo, the lead singer. Sexy as hell. Would look great draped across my bed. And those eyes...Ahhh, those piercing green eyes.
I think I will also get him an art set and a couple of books on drawing. He is getting quite good I think the right pencils and supplies might be just what he needs to turn into a serious artist.
Other than that, I haven't really decided. I want to throw a party for him, but most of the friends he has aren't friends with each other. In other words, he doesn't run around with a clique, but instead is friends with everybody. Does that make sense? And is that normal?

10月15日 New JobHey y'all!!!
How's life? Been busy for me. I started a new job last week and I love it. I have weekends off!!! yaaaa me!!! I'm borrowing the neighbor's laptop until he gets home from work which should be any minute now. Thought you all might like to know that I won't be bitching about people who don't know how to make hotel reservations anymore. Yaaaa for you!!!
School is going good. Trying to keep up since all of my classes are directed study, which in case you don't already know, I am on my own and just check in with an instructor once a week or so to make sure I am on top of everything and understanding what I am reading and things like that. In a way this is good for me because I like to work on my own, but in a way it isn't so good because I have a tendency to OVERDO!!! So, by the end of the week between training for work and studying for school, I am exhausted. Oh, well, I guess that is what the weekend is for, right? To recover from a hectic week?
Anyway, I am going blog hopping for a few minutes before Pete gets home and claims his computer. TTFN
